The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting CRP CSA-XVI for the recruitment of Customer Service Associates (CSA), commonly known as IBPS Clerk, in participating Public Sector Banks.
Selected candidates will work in customer service and clerical roles in banks. The recruitment process includes an Online Preliminary Examination and an Online Main Examination, followed by the applicable local language proficiency requirements and provisional allotment process.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. The qualification must be completed on or before 21 August 2026.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years as on 1 August 2026. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 2 August 1998 and not later than 1 August 2006, subject to applicable age relaxations.
Local Language: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the specified local language of the State/UT for which they apply.
Computer Literacy: Candidates must have operating and working knowledge of computer systems. This can be through a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in computer operations/language, or by having studied Computer/IT as a subject in High School or College.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the CRP CSA-XVI notification for recruitment of Customer Service Associates (CSA), popularly known as IBPS Clerk, in participating Public Sector Banks for vacancies of 2027-28.
Eligible graduates can apply online from 1 August 2026 to 21 August 2026. The recruitment includes approximately 11,403 indicative vacancies across India, with vacancies distributed state-wise, bank-wise and category-wise. The final number of vacancies may change according to the requirements reported by participating banks.
Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as on 1 August 2026 and possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification. Candidates must also meet the applicable local language proficiency and computer literacy requirements.
The selection process includes an Online Preliminary Examination and an Online Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination is scheduled for 10 and 11 October 2026, while the Main Examination is scheduled for 27 December 2026. Candidates shortlisted through the recruitment process will be considered for provisional allotment to participating Public Sector Banks based on applicable rules and merit.
